Group Show, Part I. The Westport Arts Center is dedicated to creating arts experiences that contribute to individual growth and enrich the community. During the summer we celebrate our communities’ artistic diversity and abundance through its “Members Show.” The shows are divided into 2 parts. Part I and Part II will feature member artists with last names beginning with L-Z and A-K, respectively. July 21 - August 17, 2008. Opening Reception: July 21st 6:30 –8:30 PM.  Winners of Art Now 2008. The Bruce S. Kershner Gallery in the Fairfield Public Library will show, "Winners of Art Now 2007" from July 20 to September 7, with a reception on Saturday, August 2 from 5 to 7 p.m.. The artists in the show are Tom Brenner, Arthur Burke, and Kevin Conklin. They will participate in a panel discussion about their work in the library on August 6 from 5 to 6 p.m. |

Walnut Beach Arts Festival. You are invited to apply to a juried festival open to artists and artisans creating their art/craft. No imports or mass produced products allowed. For guidelines and applications call Lucille at 984-7206 or email wbcreamery@optonline.net . Festival hours are from 10am-3pm on the beautiful corner green across from Walnut Beach. 12 x 12' spaces on grass are $50 each. |
